About the role
In this dynamic role, you will provide training and guidance to VLA staff and practice partners on VLA funding guidelines, fees and policies. You will develop support materials for training sessions and assess applications for legal assistance and manage grants in accordance with delegated powers. You will also represent VLA in meetings and forums related to legal aid services and assist with corporate litigation and funding decisions. Additionally, you will identify and implement new policies and processes to improve the experience of those seeking legal assistance and contribute to the work of the Legal Practice Directorate.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
