About the Role
Grid Electrics Group is looking for a professional videographer and video editor to capture high-quality footage of our commercial solar installation projects in Bowen and Proserpine, Queensland.
We are looking for someone who can create engaging, cinematic content that showcases our projects, team, workmanship, and completed installations for use across our website and social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Film commercial solar installation projects on-site.
- Capture drone footage (preferred).
- Record progress, installation process, equipment, and completed project.
- Capture interviews or team footage if required.
- Edit professional promotional videos suitable for social media and marketing.
- Deliver high-resolution edited videos and raw footage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial videography.
- Professional camera equipment.
- Drone licence (preferred but not essential).
- Strong video editing skills.
- Portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Ability to travel to Bowen and Proserpine.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience filming construction, renewable energy, mining, or industrial projects.
- Drone operation (CASA-certified preferred).
- Colour grading and motion graphics.
- Social media content creation (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn videos).
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can produce videos similar to those used by leading commercial construction and renewable energy companies—professional, cinematic, and engaging.
