About the Role
We're looking for a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to help protect our IT infrastructure, cloud environments, pharmacy systems, and business data from evolving cyber threats. You'll play a key role in monitoring security, responding to incidents, managing vulnerabilities, and supporting a secure technology environment across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate security alerts using SIEM and security monitoring tools.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents, including malware, phishing, and ransomware attacks.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Maintain endpoint, network, cloud, email, and identity security controls.
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, EDR, and IAM technologies.
- Support security risk assessments, penetration testing, and compliance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with the Australian Privacy Act, Essential Eight, ISO 27001, and internal security policies.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement secure technology solutions.
- Prepare security reports, incident documentation, and compliance records.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and support business continuity planning.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Experience with SIEM platforms, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, networking, and cloud security.
- Understanding of vulnerability management, incident response, and security frameworks.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and the Australian Essential Eight.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Security, or GIAC are highly regarded.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
