The Role:
As a Support Worker/Carer in Keilor Lodge, VIC you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.
This client requires a carer that is available to do live in care shifts. These shifts are worked in 24 hours blocks. 8 hours of active care, 8 hours of inactive care where you can rest however you are required to remain on site to assist when needed; and 8 hours of sleep where you are free to rest. You will be compensated for the full 24 hours with a daily rate of $455.60
The shift will involve assisting our client with personal care and domestic assistance.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Smartphone
- Availability to attend live in shifts in Gawler
- Experience providing personal care in a home setting
