Fairfield Hospital is seeking enthusiastic, driven and determined Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our highly skilled and supportive team.
As part of our close‑knit facility, you will play a meaningful role in delivering safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care. Working within your Scope of Practice, you will demonstrate accountability for your clinical practice, participate in critical reflection, and actively engage in your ongoing professional development. You will feel confident escalating concerns appropriately and responding effectively to patients’ changing care needs.

With regular access to Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs), Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNCs) and experienced nursing staff, you’ll be encouraged and guided to achieve your career goals and reach your full potential.

- Proof of current enrolment into your next units
- Full academic transcript
- 2 x completed undergraduate clinical placements with signed assessments from the clinical facilitators and student/facilitator feedback (ANSAT Forms)

You will have strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of people, including patients, nurses, medical staff and allied health professionals.
Comfortable taking direction from Registered Nurses, you will provide valuable support to the nursing team while always maintaining professionalism and compassion.
