The company provides maintenance services to an extensive client portfolio comprising multiple Education sites, major shopping centres, council sites, commercial organisations and private sector clients throughout South Australia.
Servicing SA employs more than 400 permanent and casual employees with strong multi-cultural backgrounds, together with a large network of subcontractors, to deliver maintenance services across metropolitan and regional South Australia.
Role Overview
The ICT Manager will have a hands-on role, and responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance and evolution of information technology systems and infrastructure to support business objectives. Reporting to the Managing Director, the ICT Manager is responsible for leading ICT service delivery across Servicing SA. This includes oversight of Helpdesk operations, infrastructure reliability, cyber security activities, vendor management and technology projects. You’ll play a key leadership role in delivering a strong digital experience for staff across diverse locations while ensuring systems, data and users are secure and supported in upcoming new system rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing information needs and specifying technology to meet those needs.
§ Develop and implement ICT strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
§ Develop, implement, and enforce ICT policies, standards, and best practices
§ Plan and deliver ICT projects, including selection and installation of system u, migrations, and cloud deployments.
§ Lead and support digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
§ Provide technical guidance, support, and training to staff
§ Oversee the day-to-day operation, performance, and availability of ICT systems and infrastructure whilst setting priorities between system developments, maintenance and operations.
§ Maintain hands-on responsibility for the cybersecurity controls and compliance.
§ Ensure effective data protection, backup, and disaster recovery processes
Skills and Attributes
- Degree or post graduate diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ICT management for minimum of 5 years.
§ Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex ICT issues in a hands-on capacity.
§ Ability to work effectively under pressure during outages and critical incidents
§ Strong skills in root cause analysis and implementation of permanent solutions.
§ Hands-on experience delivering ICT projects (e.g. system upgrades, migrations, and deployments).
- Excellent communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences specially.
- Communications skills in foreign languages. (Desirable)
§ Ability to balance project delivery with operational responsibilities.
§ Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $102,000.00 per year
