About the Role
We are seeking motivated medical practitioners to join our team of Injury Management Doctors on a contract basis. This is a predominantly telehealth role providing injury management services across NSW, with occasional in-person consultations at our clinic locations around Sydney.
Non-VR doctors and all PGY levels are welcome to apply. You don't need fellowship or a Medicare provider number — just current AHPRA general registration. Whether you're early in your career or an experienced practitioner looking for something different, we provide full training and support in injury management.
You will work across a broad caseload including workers' compensation, motor vehicle accident, and general workplace injuries. The role offers genuine flexibility — the majority of your work is done remotely, with in-clinic days scheduled only as needed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting consultations with injured workers — predominantly via telehealth, with occasional in-person sessions at our Sydney clinic locations
- Assessing, treating, and supporting injured workers through their recovery and return to work
- Reviewing case files and medical documentation to provide clinical opinions
- Preparing medical reports, treatment plans, and return-to-work recommendations
- Collaborating with insurers, employers, and allied health professionals to achieve positive outcomes for injured workers
- Managing a mix of workers' compensation, motor vehicle accident, and general workplace injury cases
What We're Looking For
- Current AHPRA general registration as a medical practitioner — all PGY levels, non-VR doctors welcome (no Medicare provider number required)
- Based in Sydney or able to attend our clinic locations for occasional in-person consultations
- No prior injury management experience needed — full training and mentoring provided
- An interest in injury management, occupational medicine, or return-to-work processes
- Strong clinical reasoning and report writing skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with patients, employers, and stakeholders both in person and via telehealth
- A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
What We Offer
- Flexible, predominantly remote work — the majority of consultations are telehealth, with in-clinic days only as needed
- Part-time or full-time — structured around your availability
- Competitive remuneration — negotiable rates that reflect your experience and contribution
- Professional development — ongoing training, mentoring, and upskilling opportunities in injury management
- Supportive team — you'll be backed by experienced colleagues and administrative support, not left to figure it out alone
