CatholicCare is seeking a capable and values-driven leader to manage the Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (WDVCAS). You will provide operational leadership of a complex frontline program, ensuring safe, high-quality and compliant service delivery for women impacted by domestic and family violence.
About the role:
An exciting role for an innovative and strategic Leader to join the fabulous WDVCAS team. As a Manager, you will be directly responsible for the strategic and operational management of the WDVCAS program, ensuring alignment with the Service Agreement, WDVCAS Service manuals and CatholicCare Mission, Values and P&P’s.
Reporting to the General Manager, Integrated Services, your role will include operational oversight, financial/budget input, reporting, stakeholder engagement, leadership of team members and compliance across services delivered at contracted Local Courts.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week, based in our Integrated Services Offices.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive experience in Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) management, including intersectionality.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, Law or related discipline.
- Proven ability to lead WDVCAS operations to meet contractual, legislative, and quality standards.
- Strong leadership skills in building accountable, high-performing teams, including supervision, coaching and performance management.
- Ability to maintain strong partnerships with courts, police, and community stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and service development.
- High-level advocacy skills.
- Experience representing services in forums, meetings, and presentations.
- Advanced understanding of the criminal justice response to DFV (ADVOs, prosecutions, family law, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of WDVCAP service model, policies, and frameworks.
- Sound judgement, resilience, and decision-making skills.
