Warehouse Administrator

Join a leading electronic security distributor and support our distribution centre operations.
The Role
You’ll be part of a small, hands-on team supporting the administration side of our Mount Waverley warehouse. Working closely with the warehouse and sales teams, this role helps keep records, reporting, order administration, order release, printing, prioritisation, returns and internal customer support running smoothly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, files and storage information
- Generate, update and review operational reports including tax, manual sales order, fleet and security reports
- Assist with credit and RMA returns to the warehouse and suppliers, including reviewing return authorisations and credit memo forms
- Support order quality checks, customer handover, order release, order printing and prioritisation of work for the warehouse team
- Respond to in-house queries and requests via email and phone, working closely with sales, warehouse, branch and finance teams
- Assist with product cycle counts, shipped date checks and locked order follow-up
- Support basic accounting administration such as invoice approval preparation, light accounts receivable/payable support and credit memo processing
- Research tax and freight claims and work with finance teams to help clear outstanding claims
- Coordinate building maintenance, equipment maintenance, supplies, security and health and safety administration
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
What we need
- Strong administration, organisation and follow-up skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy when working with reports, records and forms
- Confident computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work in a busy operational environment
- Experience in administration, operations, logistics, warehousing, customer service or inside sales is preferred
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and terminology is beneficial
- Australian working rights
