What you’ll be doing
Inspect, service and repair fixed plant equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot faults and minimise downtime through proactive repairs
Use specialised tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex problems and make accurate repairs.
Perform regular schedule preventive maintenance and safety checks
Support new equipment installations and project upgrades
Collaborate across teams and assist other trades when needed
What you’ll bring
Trade certificate – Plant/Fitter Mechanic
Experience with waste assets, compactors or mobile plant is essential (Forklift/Compactor)
Strong fault-finding and repair skills
Reliable, with the ability to work independently and in a team
Physically capable
