The Opportunity
As a Cook in our residential agedcare community, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, nutritious, highquality meals that support the wellbeing and preferences of our residents.
Your Responsibilities:

Prepare fresh, nutritious meals that cater to residents' individual dietary needs and preferences.

Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, handling, and storage in accordance with relevant regulations.

Manage stock levels and assist with food ordering to ensure kitchen supplies are maintained.

Safely use and store kitchen chemicals and equipment in line with workplace procedures.

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to create a positive and supportive work environment.

Provide friendly, respectful, and responsive service to residents, visitors, and colleagues.

Adhere to Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies at all times.

Support a dementia-inclusive dining experience that promotes residents' dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
Who We’re Looking For:

Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery

Food Handling Safety Supervisor Certificate
-
Work experience in Residential Aged Care as Cook or similar experience within Hospitality/Health of at least 2 years experience

Ability to lead by example and train a team

Good computer literacy and documentation skills
