About the role
Provide high quality, timely and appropriate levels of security, fire protection and safety services to Bribie Island Satellite Health Centre as required to ensure the protection of persons, the protection of property, the prevention of crime, the preservation of the peace and the protection of information.
Assist clinical staff in the management of problematic persons, security incidents and events, and fire and emergency incidents which may include liaison with Emergency Services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide comprehensive security services and assistance to patients, visitors, staff and contractors whilst at the same time protecting the physical assets of the Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS).
Provide a first response presence to all emergency situations including helipad operations.
Provide close personal protection to staff confronting aggressive and volatile situations in the provision of front-line health services.
Prioritise tasks and respond to requests for security and/or emergency assistance in accordance with Queensland Health, Health Service, Facility and Unit guidelines, policies, procedures, and protocols.
