Pups4Fun have a unique opportunity for school students who have a love for dogs to join our team.
Our Junior Canine Crew program has been successfully running for almost six years, with some of our students now at 4 and 5 years of service while still at school. Aimed at students aged 15-18, our Junior Crew come in after school on weekdays to assist our team.
Shifts start between 3-4pm till 6:15pm (pending student availability) Monday to Friday at both our Fisher and Belconnen sites. There is the opportunity to work longer shifts if free periods are available, and to work more hours in school holidays. Many of our junior crew have moved into Australian School Based Apprenticeships or Part Time/Full time work when finishing school. (Note that we are not currently open on weekends).
Our Junior Crew undertake tasks including:
Dog bathing and drying;
Facility maintenance and cleaning;
Customer service;
Basic retail and administration;
Animal behaviour and handling.
We are looking for students with a love for dogs who have a can do attitude and are motivated to learn. Great customer service and communication skills are important as assisting our clients and team will be a big part of the role. There will be a LOT of cleaning involved, and being reliable is super important to our team.

Our business has an award winning training program and students are encouraged to learn new skills and given opportunity to train across our daycare and grooming services in holiday periods. We have a large and supportive team who encourage and develop our crew to build both job and life skills.
We have positions available at both our Fisher and Belconnen sites. We pay under the Miscellaneous Award based on age level.
