About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Perth office on a full time basis. This newly created role will provide dedicated support to two Partners who will be joining our growing Perth office, working closely with them to establish and manage their practice while contributing to the continued success of the broader team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Legal Secretary who enjoys building strong working relationships, taking ownership of their responsibilities and becoming a trusted member of a high performing legal team.
No two days will be the same; however, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing diaries, meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
- Drafting, amending and formatting legal and general correspondence
- Preparing, filing and managing legal documents and court filings
- Opening new matters and maintaining electronic and hard copy files
- Coordinating client communications and responding to enquiries
- Assisting with billing, invoicing and expense management
- Managing deadlines and ensuring critical dates are accurately recorded
- Preparing reports, presentations and other practice related documents
Providing general administrative and practice support to the Partners and wider team

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Legal Secretary who thrives in a fast paced professional environment and prides yourself on delivering exceptional support and service.
You will bring:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary supporting senior lawyers, Partners or practice groups within a law firm
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with legal technology systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, solutions focused approach and strong sense of initiative
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
