Gradi Crown is looking for experienced Bartenders to join our Front of House team as we head into the busy spring and summer season.
Winter is coming to an end, Melbourne is waking up again and Crown is about to head into one of the most exciting periods of the hospitality calendar.
We’re strengthening our bar team now and looking for experienced hospitality professionals who are confident behind the bar, enjoy fast-paced service and want to be part of the team beyond just the busy season.
We’re looking for bartenders rather than entry-level bar staff, so you’ll need previous hands-on experience preparing cocktails, serving beverages and working efficiently through busy restaurant services.

- Confident preparing a range of cocktails
- Coffee-making experience
- Current Victorian RSA
- Strong beverage and product knowledge
- Ability to remain organised during high-volume service
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional and team-focused attitude
- Friday and Saturday availability
- Availability across at least four days per week
- Genuine interest in ongoing employment
Salary
$33.85 per hour + superannuation + applicable penalty rates

Who we are
Located within Crown Melbourne, Gradi brings authentic Italian dining, Neapolitan pizza and warm Italian hospitality into one of Melbourne’s busiest entertainment destinations.
As we move out of winter and into spring and summer, Crown becomes an especially exciting place to work, with major events, celebrations, functions and busy restaurant services bringing energy back into the precinct.
What you’ll do
- Prepare cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages
- Make coffee and support beverage service across the restaurant
- Provide warm and professional guest service
- Maintain strong knowledge of the beverage offering
- Complete bar setup, preparation and restocking
- Maintain an organised and clean bar throughout service
- Process orders accurately through the POS
- Work closely with waitstaff and the wider Front of House team
- Follow RSA requirements at all times
- Maintain Gradi presentation and service standards during busy periods
What you’ll bring
- You’ll already be comfortable behind a professional bar and able to move quickly without sacrificing quality or guest service.
- We’re looking for people with personality, professionalism and hospitality instincts — someone who can make a quality cocktail, handle a busy service and still make the guest in front of them feel welcome.
- Casual applicants are welcome, but we’re particularly interested in people who want to build an ongoing relationship with the venue and remain part of the team beyond the peak season.
Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
Please note that due to the volume of applications we may receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
