Description:
THE ROLE...
Reporting to the Estimating Team Leader, you will play a key role in preparing accurate production estimates and supporting the delivery of quality outcomes for our customers and business. Working closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Selections, Customer Service, and Operations, you will help ensure projects are costed accurately, documentation is maintained to a high standard, and customer expectations are met.
This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and an interest in residential construction. Whether you are already working in estimating, have experience in a related construction or administrative role, or are looking to apply your studies in a practical environment, we provide the support and training needed to help you succeed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE...
Assist in preparing production estimates accurately and within required timeframes
Review construction plans and documentation to support estimating activities
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure accuracy across final project documentation
Support the Selections team with enquiries before, during and after customer appointments
Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and other internal teams to achieve positive customer outcomes
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance within company systems and software
Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Experiences:
ABOUT YOU...
We're looking for someone who is motivated, organised, and ready to develop their skills in a supportive team environment.
You may be:
A recent graduate in Estimating, Building Design, or a related field
Currently studying and looking to gain industry experience
Someone with a genuine interest in residential construction and estimating
Skills & Attributes:
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong numerical and analytical abilities
Ability to read and interpret plans (or willingness to learn)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively within a team
