About the role
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and other materials according to specifications
· Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate construction
· Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and cabinets
· Conducting repairs and maintenance on existing wooden structures
· Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
· Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
The Position Requires
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment. They should demonstrate:
* A minimum of two years of experience in carpentry, including framing, finishing, and joinery
* A relevant qualification in carpentry or a related field (e.g., Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
* Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and compliance with industry standards
This is a FULL TIME ROLE
