As a Housing Officer based on Bribie Island, you'll help people maintain successful tenancies while delivering high-quality housing and property management services within a supportive, values-driven organisation.
About the role:
Working as part of our Housing Services team, you will:

Manage a portfolio of community housing properties.

Support tenants to sustain successful tenancies.
-
Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance.
-
Manage rent accounts, tenancy agreements, and compliance requirements.
-
Respond to tenancy issues with professionalism, empathy, and fairness.
-
Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality service delivery.
What you’ll bring to our team:
-
Certificate IV in Social Housing, Community Services, or equivalent experience.

Experience in tenancy management, property management, or community services.
-
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
-
Current Driver’s Licence.

Intermediate computer / Microsoft Office skills
-
National Police Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

A commitment to delivering respectful, person-centred services.
Desirable skills and experience:

Knowledge of social and community housing programs.
-
Understanding of the needs of people experiencing housing stress, disadvantage, disability, or homelessness.

Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008.
