About the role.
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Commercial Banking team in Adelaide, supporting a portfolio of diversified business customers with annual turnover of up to $150 million. Working alongside Relationship Executives, you'll provide financial analysis, credit recommendations and deal support for a range of complex commercial banking transactions.
You'll partner with Product Specialists and Risk to deliver great customer outcomes while developing expertise across credit, relationship management and commercial banking solutions. Key responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality credit submissions, delivering clear analysis, insights and recommendations to support sound credit decisions.
- Conduct detailed financial and credit analysis across a portfolio of complex commercial and diversified customers, assessing performance, cash flow, industry dynamics and key risks.
- Support transaction structuring and execution, ensuring documentation, conditions precedent and funding requirements are managed effectively.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, compliance and governance in line with policy and risk expectations.
Partner closely with Relationship Executives and internal stakeholders, providing client insights, market research and analytical support to drive deal flow, deepen customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.

About you.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Passion for supporting commercial and diversified business customers and helping them achieve their growth objectives.
- Strong financial analysis, credit assessment and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret financial statements, assess cash flow and understand key business performance drivers across a range of industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, bankers, credit partners and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, sound judgement and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and strong risk awareness, with the ability to identify key risks and support balanced lending outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Agribusiness or a related discipline, with experience in banking, financial services, accounting or a similar analytical environment highly regarded.
