We are looking for a motivated Assistant Property Manager to join our dedicated on-site management team at the prestigious Forrest Centre in Perth. This position offers an excellent career move for an experienced commercial property professional, or a high-performing Residential Property Manager with the strong financial literacy needed to step into the commercial sector.
Working directly from our Level 14 office, you will join a collaborative team of four and play a pivotal role in maintaining exceptional service standards for both our high-profile tenants and asset owners, who are located within the building.
The role:
Working closely with the General Manager and Facilities Management team, you will help oversee the daily administrative and financial health of the asset. You will:
Manage purchase orders, process accounts payable, and code vendor invoices accurately.
Assist with the preparation of budgets, monthly reporting, and financial projects.
Maintain accurate tenancy schedules, property files, and key business metric reports.
Deliver exceptional customer service to occupiers and maintain close communication with the engaged asset owners.
Partner with field management staff and client accounting services to ensure compliance.
Engage regularly with tenants to build strong rapport and identify upcoming operational needs.
Support the planning and execution of building events.
What you’ll need to succeed:
To be successful in this position, you will bring a combination of skills and attributes, including:
Previous experience in commercial property management, or a strong residential background with a desire to step into the commercial sector.
A property or finance-related degree, or a strong fundamental understanding of accounting principles.
High enthusiasm, a genuinely inquisitive mindset, and a strong willingness to learn.
Exceptional relationship-building skills to manage direct, face-to-face client and owner interactions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word, with a strong ability to analyse data.
