Due to continued growth and increasing demand from our clients, we are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant to join our Melbourne-based team.
About the Role
As a ServiceNow Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. You will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions across a range of ServiceNow modules and integrations.
This is a full-time position based in Melbourne with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform
- Lead technical delivery activities across ServiceNow implementation projects
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and automation
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and integration issues
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams
- Participate in solution architecture and technical design discussions
- Support testing, deployment, release management, and production support activities
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to platform best practices
- Maintain platform security, governance, and compliance standards
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability development initiatives
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience
- Demonstrated experience working with the ServiceNow platform
- Strong experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow platform development
- Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience delivering enterprise software implementation projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments
