We are a registered service agent for Fujitsu Air Conditioning and provide professional installation, maintenance, and repair services for all major air conditioning brands.
Position: Air Conditioning Service Technician
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and residential air conditioning systems. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in accordance with Australian Standards, industry best practices, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install split-system, multi-head and ducted air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties in accordance with drawings and manufacturer specifications.
- Plan and lay out installation work, including refrigerant pipework, condensate drainage, ductwork, electrical interconnecting wiring, and equipment positioning to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant installations.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance verification of newly installed air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including refrigeration circuits, compressors, evaporators, condensers, fan motors, thermostats, sensors, electrical components, and control systems.
- Carry out preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, and condition assessments of commercial and residential refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Complete service reports, maintenance records, and installation documentation and ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, industry regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Provide professional technical advice to customers on the operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy-efficient use of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a safe and serviceable condition.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant industry qualification or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
