We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities & Assets Manager to lead the management of our diverse property, facilities, fleet and asset portfolio.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Finance & Corporate Services Officer, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across BHN’s facilities, assets, fleet and property functions. You’ll ensure our sites are safe, compliant, fit-for-purpose and support the delivery of exceptional community services.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence organisational performance through effective asset planning, facilities management, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead BHN’s facilities, assets, fleet and property portfolio across multiple sites
- Manage maintenance programs, contractors, leases and service providers
- Drive strategic asset planning and facilities improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with legislative, safety and governance requirements
- Lead and develop a high-performing facilities and maintenance team
- Manage budgets, resources and operational performance
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About You
You are a collaborative and solutions-focused leader with:
- Demonstrated experience in facilities, asset and fleet management
- Proven success leading teams and managing operational services
- Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management and contractor management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience managing budgets and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (management qualifications highly regarded.
- Experience within health, community services or the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
