About the Role
We’re looking for a Dental Assistant with at least 6 months of chairside dental assisting experience to join our growing team.
This is a casual position working 2–3 days per week, with genuine opportunities to transition into a permanent part-time role for the right person.
Every day is different. You’ll assist across a wide range of procedures while working alongside experienced clinicians who are committed to mentoring and helping you develop your skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our clinical team, you’ll:
· Assist chairside during a wide variety of dental procedures
· Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment
· Maintain exceptional infection control and sterilisation standards
· Assist with digital radiographs, intraoral scanning and clinical photography
· Support patients before, during and after treatment
· Help ensure surgeries run smoothly and efficiently
· Work collaboratively with dentists, oral health therapists and the wider team
· Deliver the high standard of care Riverlands Dental is known for
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has at least 6 months’ experience as a Dental Assistant
· Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
· Has excellent communication and people skills
· Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
· Is positive, friendly and genuinely enjoys helping others
· Takes initiative and works well both independently and within a team
· Wants to continue learning and building a long-term career in dentistry

Work with Leading Technology

· Digital intraoral scanners
· CBCT and Digital OPG imaging
· 3D Printing
· EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy (AirFlow)
· Digital workflows and same-day dentistry
Essential Requirements
· Minimum 6 months’ dental assisting experience
· Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (no sponsorship available)
· Reliable transport to North Richmond
· Available to work 2–3 days per week
· Evidence of application : Working with Children Check & Police Check
