About the Opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing development of nursing staff through the delivery of high-quality education, training, and clinical leadership. Working in a dynamic healthcare environment, you will promote a culture of continuous learning while ensuring staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. This position contributes significantly to workforce capability and professional development across the service. In this role you will:
- Working across a seven-day rotating roster
- Deliver, facilitate and evaluate clinical education programs for both individuals and groups to support nursing workforce development.
- Provide day-to-day clinical education, one-to-one support, mentoring, preceptorship and in-service training to meet learning and development needs.
- Promote a positive culture of learning and professional growth within the team and broader organisation.
- Provide clinical leadership and role modelling to support evidence-based practice and collaborative learning.
- Work closely with nursing staff and managers to identify individual, team and service education needs.
- Contribute to the development and review of clinical procedures, guidelines and educational resources.
- Ensure practice aligns with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice and relevant NSW Health and CCLHD policies.

About You
We are looking for an experienced and passionate nurse educator who is committed to supporting others and enhancing patient care through education and clinical excellence. You will bring:
- Relevant post-registration clinical or education qualifications, or equivalent combination of education and extensive clinical experience.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the specialty area.
- Experience delivering education programs with a sound understanding of adult learning, assessment and development principles.
- Strong skills in the use of technology and digital systems relevant to clinical education and practice.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while also working independently.
- A commitment to the Caring for the Coast vision, goals and strategies, and behaviours that align with NSW Health CORE Values and the CCLHD Values and Behaviours Charter.
