Location: Leichhardt
Hours of work: 2-3 days per week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays ONLY - 16-24 hours per week
Hourly rate: $33.05 per hour (this includes the casual loading) - Casual rates apply as per Food and Tobacco Manufacturing Award
Transport: Close to bus stops, light rail and plenty of off street parking. Closest train station is Petersham, a 30 minute walk away.
Yianni Fine Food is an established food manufacturer based in Leichhardt, and supplies cafes, restaurants and other food outlets throughout Sydney and Australia.
We pride ourselves in creating quality Greek sweets, pastries, banana breads, muffins, slices, cakes and a large range of baked savouries such as lasagne, quiches and frittatas.
We are looking for a keen person to join our team as a production worker Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am-5pm approximately. NO MONDAYS. NO FRIDAYS. NO WEEKENDS.
Some duties of this position include:
- Collect ingredients
- Assist in the assembly of savouries
- Assist in the assembly of sweets
- Pack finished product
- Wash dirty trays and mixing bowls or any other cooking item as required
- Assist in the allocation of incoming ingredients in the warehouse, freezers and coolrooms
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and punctual
- is physically strong
- has NO physical limitations
- can stand for long periods
- Can lift 25kg if required
- Is able to work in a team environment
- Can adhere to health and safety standards
- Can read and understand and speak English FLUENTLY
- has current working rights in Australia
