McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Bagshot, 20 minutes from Bendigo Victoria. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Maintenance Person to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded and enjoys a variety of maintenance and farm-related tasks. No formal trade qualifications are required - we're looking for someone with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

About the Role
Working alongside our Poultry Rearing team, you'll help keep our sheds, equipment and facilities running efficiently while also assisting with general farm operations and bird welfare.
Your day-to-day work will include:

Carrying out general repairs and maintenance across the farm

Servicing and troubleshooting equipment and shed systems

Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance

Assisting with feeding, cleaning and general poultry care when required

Responding to shed alarms and reporting maintenance issues

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

Following biosecurity and workplace health and safety requirements
About You
We're looking for someone who:

Is mechanically minded and enjoys working with tools

Has practical problem-solving skills

Is reliable, self-motivated and takes pride in their work

Can work independently and as part of a team

Has a strong commitment to safety and animal welfare

Is willing to learn and take on a variety of tasks

Previous maintenance, farming or agricultural experience is beneficial but not essential. We provide on-the-job training for the right person.
