Warehouse Supervisor | Matic Transport

Matic Transport is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, lead operational teams, and ensure freight is received, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
Lead, coach, and support warehouse staff to achieve operational targets
Allocate tasks and monitor team performance and productivity
Ensure freight is processed accurately and delivered on schedule
Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and investigate discrepancies
Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Conduct safety inspections and promote safe work practices
Prepare operational reports and coordinate with transport and logistics teams
Skills & Experience:
Experience in warehousing, logistics, or freight operations
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift Licence (LF)
Certificate III or IV in Warehousing Operations, Logistics, or a related field
Experience within transport and freight environments
Knowledge of inventory control and stock management systems
