What you’ll do:
As the Project Scheduler you play a critical role in providing portfolio-level cost, schedule, governance and performance oversight across the Midstream and Energy Solutions Capital Program. The portfolio encompasses a diverse range of capital works including Brownfield Projects, Major Maintenance Shutdowns and Major Machinery Overhauls, across several Major Hazardous Facilities. The role requires strong coordination, commercial awareness and disciplined project controls.
The role provides strategic oversight of the capital program performance, forecasting and reporting, enabling informed decision-making and supporting the successful delivery of significant capital investments. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and key stakeholders, the Project Scheduler drives effective planning, schedule and cost management, performance monitoring and resource optimisation across the portfolio.
With a strong focus on delivery, accountability and financial stewardship, the role ensures emerging risks and opportunities are identified early, project performance is clearly understood, and stakeholders have the timely and accurate information required to make informed decisions and achieve successful project outcomes.
Key accountabilities include:
- Apply specialist expertise to deliver plans and outcomes aligned with company strategy and business objectives.

Provide scheduling and cost advice and assurance to Project Managers, Budget Owners and Senior Managers

Demonstrate a continuous improvement and performance-focused mindset, contributing to desired cultural outcomes.

Understand team objectives and consistently deliver assigned accountabilities and commitments.

Contribute to cost optimisation initiatives and value creation opportunities across the business.

Collaborate effectively and proactively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.

Maintain compliance with all company policies, standards, procedures, and governance requirements.

Promote and maintain compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements, ensuring behaviours align with company policies, standards, and safety expectations.
What you’ll bring:
-
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Project Controls, Project Engineering, Capital or Construction Planning, Scheduling, or a related discipline within heavy industry, energy, resources, infrastructure, or oil and gas environments.

Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, forecasting, cost control, and financial management across a portfolio of projects exceeding $100 million, consisting of brownfield projects, shutdowns, and minor capital works programs.

Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, SAP S/4HANA, Prism G2 and enterprise project controls and cost management systems.

Demonstrated experience integrating cost and schedule controls throughout the full project lifecycle.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across multiple disciplines and organisational levels.
