About the Role:
The Technical Trainer/Advisor will be responsible for managing all technical and training aspects of Construction and Allied Product portfolios. The incumbent will be required to provide the TMHA network with technical support and other related customer service activities to all relevant departments including sales, service and rentals.
The successful applicant must be willing and able to travel regularly within the TMHA branch network
Key duties & responsibilities:

Provide technical and warranty support to the TMHA network.

Manage all aspects of assigned product portfolio related technical requirements.

Liaise with OEM factory representatives regarding technical items.

Provide the TMHA network with service-related on-site support and technical advice
-
Attend product training on new OEM products in-line with their requirements.

Maintain product service campaign progress including completion of campaign register.
-
Recommend process/product improvement opportunities to National Technical Support Manager.

Create technical documentation in support of local technical modifications/installations.
-
Coordinate and deliver Service Technician Educational Program (STEP) product training to support TMHA requirements.

Coordinate and deliver TMHA network special training requests.
-
Develop and administer both online and in-class training material.

Manage preparation for assigned product portfolio activities in annual National Skills Competition
Qualifications & experience:
-
Trade Qualification within industry recognised trades
-
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (preferred)

Previous technical training experience
-
Previous experience in a client/customer facing role.

Proven experience with over the phone and face to face technical support within a Material Handling Industry or relevant industry.

Exceptional diagnostic skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Proficient in utilising common office software for documentation

Ability to clearly articulate technical knowledge to internal and external customers
