The Details:
- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight | 2 positions available
- $76,066 pa (ie. $38.49/hour) - incl. industry and uniform allowance + 12% super (level 5) - effective 1 July
- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Narangba
Join our Roads and Drains team and carry out truck and trailer operations, transporting materials, machinery and attachments to support our Regional Services crews.
This includes:
- Ensuring the safe and timely delivery and removal of materials, machinery and attachments
- Operating trucks and other equipment in line with licence and training requirements
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and performing basic maintenance on trucks and equipment where applicable
- Building positive working relationships across the broader Civil Services team
- Carrying out general labouring tasks when not operating vehicles
About you
You have experience operating truck and trailer combinations in a civil or construction environment and understand the importance of working safely and following procedures.
You’ll bring:
- Experience operating truck and trailer combinations and related equipment
- A strong focus on safe loading, transport and unloading of materials and machinery
- Ability to complete daily vehicle checks, basic maintenance and defect reporting
- Confidence learning and using technology and systems to support work activities
- A willingness to undertake general labouring tasks when required
- The ability to work effectively within a crew environment and build strong working relationships
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current HC driver’s licence (minimum)
- Construction Induction Card
