About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead – Workplace Relations to join our People team and lead critical, organisation-wide initiatives across workplace relations. This is an 18-month max term position.
This is a high-impact role focused on delivering key programs of work including examples such as workplace wage assurance, organisational restructuring and HRMS implementation or the overseeing of Enterprise Agreement renewal. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliant, sustainable and contemporary workplace practices across a large, complex and nationally dispersed organisation.
Working closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts, you will translate strategy into practical outcomes—balancing technical excellence, stakeholder alignment, and business impact.

About You:
You are a commercially minded and outcomes-driven leader who thrives in complex environments and can confidently lead high-profile, high-risk Workplace Relations programs.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Workplace Relations or Industrial Relations projects, ideally including wage compliance/remediation and enterprise bargaining
- Strong technical understanding of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Proven ability to draw on and coordinate specialist expertise (IR, legal, payroll, systems) to deliver integrated outcomes
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with executive leadership and unions
- Strong project leadership capability, with experience managing multiple workstreams, competing priorities and tight timeframes
- Ability to balance technical WR requirements with commercial, operational and people considerations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex issues into clear and actionable insights
- Experience working in complex, multi-site or highly regulated environments (aged care, health, community services or similar highly regarded)
