We are seeking an experienced and motivated Child Care Educator to join our professional & dedicated team. This is a full-time ongoing position, offering 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) at Giralang, ACT.

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
· Assist in the preparation of the learning environment, materials and equipment for children’s education & recreational activities.
· Contribute to documentation and goal setting for children's learning outcomes.
· Supervising children during daily routines, recreational activities, and hygiene practices.
· Entertaining children with stories, games, and other creative experiences.
· Ensuring a safe environment is maintained for children.
· Develop and maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families.
· Ensuring that records are maintained accurately for each child.
· Modelling and supporting developmentally appropriate social behaviour and skills while interacting with children.
· Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at a high level at all times.
· Support the development of sustainable practices within the centre.
Skills & Experience – What We’re Looking For:
· Must have a Diploma or Cert III of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
· Minimum of 1 year experience as an Educator
· A current valid Working with Children Check
· Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
· Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive and professional approach to children & co-workers
· Sound computer literacy skills related to documentation and program planning.
· Have high level of interpersonal and communication skills
· Bright, friendly and energetic
· Dedicated to developing the future of children
Pay: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour
