At the Honeycake, we manufacture cakes, pastries and baked goods in our facility based in Fremantle, with shopfronts in the Fremantle markets, London Court CBD and Northbridge (for more information about us, visit www.thehoneycake.com.au).
Position: Part-Time Permanent

We are looking for a motivated, reliable, independent and energetic person with great communication skills and a common sense to join our THE HONEYCAKE team.
2 - 3 shifts (15 - 25 hours) per week. Flexibility to work across stores with availability between Thursday and Sunday highly preferred .
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Introducing THE HONEYCAKE to customers, serving customers and offering samples
- Receiving customer phone calls and answering their questions
- Cake cutting and packing to certain sizes
- Stock taking
- Money handling, working with eftpos and point of sale
- Keeping the store clean and tidy
- Balancing money sale and cakes at the end of the day
- Some computer work
- Shop opening and closing
Requirements:
- You must be motivated, energetic, communicative and have a positive attitude.
- You must speak English on a great communication level.
- Experience in retail and hospitality is taken as an advantage.
- You must be able to work independently, as there is only 1 person at the shop at all times.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
