About the role:
Based in Armidale Maternity Unit, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated Clinical Midwifery Educator (CME) on a permanent part time basis to support our Student Midwives, Graduate Midwives, and Registered Midwives. This is a very exciting time for Armidale Maternity, as they are currently in development stage of a Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) and Initial Maternity Assessment and Planning Clinic (IMAP), giving continuity of care models that both the midwives and women are eager for. If you are interested in supporting and mentoring staff in through these exciting changes, we want to hear from you!
You won’t be working alone. You will be supported by the Maternity Unit Manager (MUM) and the other Clinical Midwifery Educator (CME) that you will job share with, as well as the other senior leadership team amongst Armidale Hospital. Requirements:
- Registered Midwife with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA and hold relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications
Additional Information:
1️⃣* Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. If your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive.
