Description of the role:
The Venue Manager role encompasses all day-to-day aspects of the Hotels Food and Beverage operations, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, employee engagement and profitability.
Day to day duties and responsibilities:
The day-to-day duties of your role include, but are not limited to the following:
· Lead and inspire a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
· Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet and exceed guest expectations.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
· Ensure venue is consistently presented at its best.
· Manage entertainment program for the venue.
· Plan and execute a calendar of events.
· Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality services.
· Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution.
· Implement guest feedback to continuously improve the hotel's offerings.
· Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and forecasts to maximize revenue and profitability.
· Monitor expenses, control costs, and implement strategies for revenue growth.
· Implement revenue management strategies to optimize room rates and occupancy.
· Oversee day-to-day Food and Beverage operations.
· Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance throughout the property.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing plans to attract and retain guests.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and tourism partners.
· Implement sales strategies to increase occupancy during peak and off-peak seasons.
· Act as a brand ambassador for Potshot Hotel within the local community.
· Ensure compliance with WA’s hospitality industry regulations, including licensing and health and safety standards.
Any other reasonable duties as directed by Operations Manager or Directors.
Required qualifications:
The business expects you to hold the following qualifications:
· Approved Manager**
· Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) **
· TAB Compliance Certificate**
· Australian Hotels Association (AHA), Western Australia (WA) Hospitality Hygiene for Food Handler’s Course (mandatory qualification required from 8 December 2023). This qualification is required prior to commencing work at the resort. **

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
