Packing Team Member – Bakery Production
Little Sister Bakery is a growing artisan bakery producing premium breads, pastries, and baked goods for our retail stores and wholesale customers across Melbourne.
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packing Team Member to join our production team in Braeside.
About the Role
This position involves packing freshly baked breads, pastries, and bakery products to ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently for daily distribution.
Shifts are typically 6–8 hours, commencing from 12:00pm onwards, and involve working as part of a supportive and fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing bread, pastries, and bakery products accurately according to order requirements
- Following packing procedures, systems, and checklists
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Assisting with cleaning duties and maintaining a safe work environment
- Performing stock and packaging checks
- Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production deadlines
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Able to follow systems, procedures, and checklists
- A strong communicator who works well within a team
- Committed to cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards
- Physically capable of working in a production and packing environment
- Able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week
- Has reliable transport and can consistently commute to our Braeside facility
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, packing, manufacturing, or food production environment is highly regarded
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience will be advantageous
