As part of our Fire Protection team, you'll contribute to some of Australia's most complex and critical projects across the health, data centre, defence and transport sectors. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams and global specialists, you'll help deliver innovative fire protection solutions that enhance safety, resilience and performance for our clients.
Role Summary
As a Senior Associate Fire Protection Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across the delivery of fire protection engineering services for major buildings and infrastructure projects. You'll lead complex project work, develop trusted client relationships and work collaboratively with local and global teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions. In addition to project delivery, you'll play an important role in mentoring engineers, supporting business growth and strengthening Jacobs' fire protection capability across Australia and the wider region.

Lead the delivery of fire protection engineering design, consultancy and assurance services across complex buildings and infrastructure projects.
Manage projects and technical delivery to achieve quality, schedule, budget and client satisfaction objectives.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for future work.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams to deliver integrated solutions across health, data centre, defence and transport projects.
Support pursuits and proposals, including contributing technical expertise and commercial inputs to secure new work.
Mentor and support engineers through technical guidance, coaching and knowledge sharing while promoting a strong culture of safety and quality.
Here's what you'll need
Experience delivering fire protection engineering services across complex buildings and infrastructure projects.
Strong technical knowledge of fire protection engineering design, codes, standards and performance-based solutions.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders and provide technical direction within multidisciplinary teams.
Proven capability in developing trusted client relationships and contributing to business development and project pursuits.
Strong communication, collaboration and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others and sharing knowledge.
Relevant engineering qualifications with Chartered status and/or professional fire engineering accreditation highly regarded.
