We are currently seeking an experienced Therapy Assistant to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Beachside.
This role is offered on a Part-time Basis.
The successful candidate must be available to work the following shift pattern:
- Wednesday: 09:30 - 17:30
- Thursday: 09:30 - 17:30
- Friday: 10:00 - 18:00 or 09:00 - 16:00 (two shifts available)
- Saturday: 10:00 - 17:30
The Role
- Implementing therapy and lifestyle programs for individual residents and groups
- Adapting activities to resident’s level of function under the guidance of a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- Addressing a variety physical and psychological needs and providing opportunities for meaningful engagement for residents
- Maintaining accurate documentation, both paper and computer based

About You
You have a passion for working with people of all abilities and backgrounds. You are enthusiastic and creative and can support and cultivate our residents’ strengths and interests. You also bring:
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a Therapy Assistant role ideally in aged care
- Ability to communicate clearly in both a verbal and written capacity with care recipients, families and team members
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
