We are seeking a motivated and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in Human Resources, gaining exposure across the full employee lifecycle while working alongside experienced HR professionals.
The Opportunity
As HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our people and projects across the business. Working closely with HR Business Partners and leaders, you will be involved in everything from onboarding and recruitment through to learning and development, employee engagement, reporting and HR projects.
This role offers broad exposure across a large and dynamic organisation, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop into a future HR Advisor or HR Business Partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions and employee changes
- Prepare employment contracts, letters and HR documentation
- Maintain employee records and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with recruitment activities including interview coordination and reference checks
- Support learning and development programs, training coordination and attendance tracking
- Prepare HR reports, workforce data and people metrics
- Assist with graduate and cadet program activities, including events and rotations
- Support employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programs and people projects
- Provide first-level HR support to employees and managers
- Assist with policy reviews, process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline, or nearing completion
- Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator or People & Culture support role
- Australia Citizen
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems
- Ability to work with confidential information professionally and discreetly
- Positive, proactive and eager to build a career in Human Resources
