About the Role
This is a hands-on role working across our wholesale production and distribution operation based in Marrickville. You’ll be responsible for accurately preparing customer orders, packing products to company standards, assisting with stock organisation, and helping ensure our deliveries leave on time and correctly every day.
You’ll work closely with our bakery, production and logistics teams and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack wholesale and retail orders accurately
- Prepare orders for daily dispatch and deliveries
- Conduct stock rotation (FIFO) and assist with stock counts
- Check products for quality, labelling and presentation before dispatch
- Maintain clean and organised packing/storage areas
- Assist with receiving deliveries and putting stock away
- Work closely with production and customer support teams regarding order changes or shortages
- Follow all HACCP, food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with end-of-day pack down and cleaning
What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse, food production or pick packing experience preferred
- Fast, organised and detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Reliable, punctual and physically fit
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Food manufacturing or bakery experience highly regarded
KPI Expectations
- High picking accuracy with minimal errors
- Orders dispatched on time daily
- Strong stock rotation and organisation standards
- Daily cleaning and packing duties completed correctly
- Clear communication with managers and team members
- Consistent adherence to HACCP and food safety requirements
