ENJOY AI Australia is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and technically capable Robotics, Scratch and Game Coding Tutors to join our growing education team at our Mount Waverley campus.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and can guide students through hands-on robot building, block-based coding, engineering activities, and creative game programming projects.
Candidates studying or holding qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Experience with Roblox Studio, Minecraft Education, Microsoft MakeCode, Python, Lua or Luau is also highly desirable.

Applicants must be able to travel reliably to the Mount Waverley campus for scheduled weekday afternoon and weekend classes.
What You’ll Do
- Teach students aged 4–18 in robotics, Scratch coding, block-based programming, and beginner game development.
- Guide students in building robot models using LEGO-style components, mechanical parts, motors, sensors, gears, wheels, axles, linkages, and simple transmission systems.
- Explain fundamental robotics and engineering concepts, including movement, balance, structural stability, sequencing, sensors, loops, conditions, and problem-solving.
- Teach Scratch and visual programming concepts such as events, loops, conditions, variables, animations, games, and interactive projects.
- Teach Roblox Studio and Minecraft Education where appropriate, helping students create beginner-friendly games, mini-worlds, obstacle courses, NPC interactions, simulations, and creative coding projects.
- Introduce basic game design concepts, including player movement, collision detection, scoring systems, game rules, levels, obstacles, and interactive objects.
- Support students in debugging, testing, improving, and presenting their projects.
- Encourage creativity, logical thinking, teamwork, confidence, and independent problem-solving through project-based learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, structured, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Provide class feedback and assist with student progress tracking.
- Prepare classroom equipment and ensure robotics kits and learning materials are used safely and responsibly.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with robotics kits, LEGO-style building systems, STEM equipment, mechanical structures, electronics, or hands-on engineering activities is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Scratch, block-based coding, or visual programming is required.
- Experience with Roblox Studio, Minecraft Education, Microsoft MakeCode, or beginner game programming is strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Python, Lua, Luau, MakeCode, or another beginner-friendly programming language is an advantage.
- Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical concepts, including gears, wheels, axles, linkages, motors, sensors, balance, movement, circuits, and simple control systems, is highly desirable.
- Qualifications or current study in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Education, or a related field will be highly regarded.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently to children and teenagers.
- Teaching, tutoring, coaching, STEM mentoring, or youth-work experience is preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Patient, responsible, reliable, and confident working with students of different ages and ability levels.
- Fluent English is required.
- Mandarin or Cantonese is a strong advantage.
- A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one, is required.
