Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and patient-focussed Registered Nurse to step up into the leadership opportunity as a Clinical Nurse in our busy Accident & Emergency Department.
As the Clinical Nurse you will be responsible for providing expert clinical nursing care to patients. You will work collaboratively with a team of support clinicians to get the best patient outcome.
This role will involve, but is not limited to:

Acting as a professional resource and demonstrating broad knowledge in all facets of caring for patients to ensure the highest levels of nursing care.

Supervising and supporting staff within the unit

Participate in Quality improvement Programs in line with organisational and departmental strategic plans.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a medical nursing with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will also demonstrate:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Minimum of four (4) years post registration experience and (2) years in Emergency

Experiences in team leader role

Hold or working toward Post Graduate Qualifications in Emergency

Understanding scope of practice

Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

Motivation to lead and develop quality services
The flexibility to handle a rotating roster with weekend and evening shifts will be key for this role.
Additional Information

Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.

According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
