Calling Delivery Drivers
Shingle Inn is looking for Delivery Drivers. You are the person who takes our fabulous products from the bakery to the market, delivering with care and attention to detail. Also to assist with some packing of products.
Shingle Inn is Brisbane's oldest and most loved cafe. Established in 1936, the family-owned business has built upon its reputation for excellence, becoming a beloved cafe chain that proudly continues its dedication to exceeding customers' expectations.
MINIMUM requirements (if you can't meet these requirements, please DO NOT apply)
- MUST have a manual car license
- MUST be able to drive a small truck with car license
- MUST be available at least from 3AM - 11AM on a couple of days during the week, normally includes a Friday
Delivery duties include:
- Some packing of goods for delivery, as required, and effective onboarding of products for delivery to ensure maximum efficiency and minimization of product damage
- Safe and timely delivery of all goods being transported
- Ability to follow a transport schedule and liaise with management where deviation from the schedule might be required
- Weekly cleaning of vehicle exterior and interior
- Requirement to wear uniform and uphold the brand standards of Shingle Inn
- Work well as part of a small team
To be successful, you will:
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have a safe driving record
- Ability to work early week-day mornings
- And finally, have a positive 'can do' attitude and love working as part of a team!
Also, a FORKLIFT LICENSE would be a bonus!
