Corporate Security Officer – Controller & Rover

Fortitude Protective Services is seeking professional and reliable Corporate Security Officers to join our growing team. These roles include both Control Room Operator (Controller) and Rover responsibilities across high-profile corporate sites.
About the Role
As a Corporate Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, clients, and visitors. Positions are available for experienced Controllers and proactive Rovers who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Controller Duties:
- Emergency response coordination and incident management
- Monitoring and operating CCTV systems
- Managing access control systems
- Maintaining accurate logs and incident reports
- Liaising with emergency services and site stakeholders
Rover Duties:
- Conducting regular patrols of corporate premises
- Identifying and reporting security risks and hazards
- Providing customer service and support to staff and visitors
- Assisting during emergency situations
- Enforcing site procedures and security protocols
Requirements
- Current NSW Security Licence (mandatory)
- Current First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
- Proven experience in a control room environment – including emergency management, access control, and CCTV monitoring
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- High level of professionalism and presentation
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-focused
