Details: A long term incumbent is sought for the position of Executive Director, Surgery at Canberra Hospital, for a period of five years.
Reporting to the General Manager, Canberra Hospital, the Executive Director, Surgery is a critical leadership role with accountability for the overall operations and performance of surgical services at Canberra Hospital.
The Executive Director will drive performance and provide high level advice to support the operation of patient flow across the system.
The successful applicant will provide outstanding and strategically focused leadership, communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders and work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy within a complex team. It is expected that the Executive Director will be an active contributor to the executive leadership group.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $330,580 - $340,787 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $291,627.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
