About the role: As Senior Reporting and Insights Analyst you will transform complex operational and asset data into meaningful insights that support strategic and day-to-day decision making. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll develop reporting solutions, analyse trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide evidence-based recommendations that enhance asset performance and business outcomes
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations to support business decision making.
- Analyse operational, asset and financial data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on key business and asset outcomes.
- Support data-driven decision making through analysis, forecasting and performance reviews.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies and opportunities within business processes.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and integrity through effective data validation and quality assurance practices.
About You
- Experience in an Analyst, Asset Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar role.
- Advanced Capability in Power BI and data visualisation skills.
- Experience with Python, R or equivalent analytical programming languages.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience within heavy industry, transport, infrastructure, resources or other asset-intensive environments is desirable.
