The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Specialist to join our team. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of projects from commencement through to completion. This is a hands-on position that combines technical engineering expertise with practical project support, ensuring projects are made efficient, and delivered on time.
The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, contractors and internal departments. You will play a key role in coordinating project activities, while providing technical support throughout projects.
A working knowledge of Mandarin is compulsory for this role
Duties & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be able to:
1. Support the Project Manager with the planning, coordination and completion of multiple projects
2. Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure project requirements are met.
3. Liaise with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments
4. Provide technical support to clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments
5. Assist in preparing project schedules, procurement plans and resource allocations.
6. Attend site meetings and provide technical support during project execution where required
7. Monitor project progress and assist in resolving technical and operational issues
8. Prepare project documentations, reports and progress updates for management and clients
Key Competencies
1. Fluent spoken in English and Mandarin
2. Previous experience in project coordination, project engineering, or a similar role within the industry
3. Strong technical understanding with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and project documentation
4. Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities
5. Highly organised with excellent planning and time management skills
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities
Qualifications
· Bachelor of Engineering

Salary
From $75,000 per annum + superannuation + commission
