Male Disability Support Worker – Casual
Location: Dee Why, NSW
Pay Rate: $40/hour (inclusive of casual loading, excluding superannuation)

We are looking for a male Disability Support Worker to support a young male client living with a psychosocial disability. Please note the client smokes.
Shifts hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to the client
- Support with community access activities (outings, social engagement, appointments, etc.)
- Drive the client to appointments, and community activities
- Assist with daily living support when required
- Encourage independence, social interaction, and engagement
- Be respectful and accommodating of the client's smoking habits during shifts
- Maintain clear communication and accurate shift notes
Requirement
- Experience working with people with psychosocial disability
- Aware of the risks of physical and verbal aggression
- Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Reliable and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and a positive, friendly personality
