Tanami is one of Australia's most remote and significant underground gold mines, located deep in the Tanami Desert of the Northern Territory. As a Superintendent Mechanical/Structural Engineering, you'll provide mechanical and structural engineering support to help ensure safe and efficient mining operations. You'll lead engineering activities, support technical decision-making, and help deliver engineering solutions that meet safety, operational and engineering standards.
- Lead and coordinate mechanical and structural engineering studies and activities.

Ensure engineering solutions comply with applicable standards, specifications and design criteria.

Monitor engineering work to support maintainability, operability, constructability and safe operation.

Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to support compliance with project specifications, safety standards and contractual requirements. \

Identify, manage and monitor engineering risks while overseeing engineering documentation, schedules and costs.
- Hold an appropriate Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering designation.
- Possess valid Supervisor accreditation. (Underground Supervisor or S.26?)

Demonstrate advanced proficiency in mechanical and structural engineering.
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Hold a valid driving licence.
- People leadership role.
- Works closely with operational managers, asset management, reliability, safety, human resources, supply chain, training and finance stakeholders.
- Engages with business partners, communities, government agencies and original equipment manufacturers.
- The role is offered on an 8/6 roster serviced by Perth, Brisbane, Darwin and Alice Springs
